About
A little more about me

I’m a New England native, now residing in the mid-south with my fiance, our children and our dog, Ranger. When I’m not traumatizing readers and characters alike, or working my 9-5, I can be found at home doing mom things and talking with friends.
Writing was never something I saw for myself. I spent 16 years as a volunteer firefighter before leaving the service, and I was on the fast track for making that my full time career. Life has a funny way of changing quickly and altering your plans. And I’m so thankful that it did. January 2024, our area was hit with an ice storm that shut our entire county down, and for the first time since I was a teenager I picked up a book, then started doing book reviews on TikTok for fun. One day, my fiance told me I should write my own. An idea sparked, and Affliction was born in a matter of one day in the notes app on my phone. What started as one story that I wasn't even sure I was going to release, has morphed into this incredibly gritty, dark, twisted and delicious world where the monsters are people, and love doesn't come without a price.
